Aloha From Hawaii...., Please allow
me to introduce myself and share with you a little background
about how Blue Wave Trading came to exist, and why many of our clients and peers
have said that we are, "one of the most
innovative technical analysis and trading systems developers in the
industry today. My Name is Randy M. Sarrow, and I am the
Developer, Programmer, Professional Trader and Owner of Blue Wave
Trading Research and Development (www.bluewavetrading.com)
and the creator of the BWT Precision Indicators and BWT Precision
Auto Trade System.
I started trading in 1997 while I was self employed as a Financial
Advisor and held several Securities license including series 6 and
26 supervising a group of brokers. At that time, I took what was
probably one of the first day trading "Webinars" as they are known
today, on an instant messenger program called " ICQ " if you
have been using the internet long enough, you'll know what ICQ is...
In 1980 I began my career as a financial planning professional
specializing in tax sheltered investments. After building a thriving
financial planning practice over the next 15 years, I realized most
Mutual Funds under performed the indices, and advised my clients to
invest in index mutual funds.
In 1998, I registered as a Registered Investment Advisor,
and managed a
small portfolio of 7.5 million. I employed Market Timing from simple
trading models I had developed, and was able to position my
clients in cash within two weeks of the market top in March of 2000.
That same year, I placed 6th in a trading
competition among my Investment Advisor peers earning a cash prize
and bragging rights. Later that year, I retired from my 20 year career
as a Financial Advisor, to trade and develop automated systems full time.
In early 2000, I moved to Maui, HI, and realized my lifelong
goal to live in Hawaii.
In 2003 I started Blue Wave Trading after my broker was impressed
with my systems trading performance and suggested I make it
available to other traders...The following year the BWT Zones
Trading System ranked as high as 3rd in the
Top Ten SP Trading Systems in
Futures Truth Magazine, and was the #1 performer at Attain Capital
mgt. (a broker and CTA that focuses on Systems Trading) .
At the time BWT was the subject of
numerous
articles pertaining to
system
performance and
Statistics . Blue
Wave Trading is not a "newcomer" to trading system development.
After testing over a thousand trading rules and developing as many
systems, and I have not seen anything that matches our
accuracy in the BWT Precision Indicators.
Over the years Blue Wave Trading has been an innovator in
programming technical indicators and systems development, our
current products - the BWT Precision Auto Trader and BWT Precision
Indicators and our visual style of development have become the envy
of our competitors, as the number of copycats, knock offs and useless products continue to pollute the marketplace...
We lay our reputation on the line every day, as we have perhaps the
