Entry Engine. Precision Filter. Or Both.

The ICT Module operates in two independent modes that can be used separately or combined. You decide exactly how much of the ICT framework you want EdgeMax to enforce.

Mode 1
ICT Entry Module
EdgeMax generates trades directly from ICT setups. Seven entry signal types — each individually toggleable. Enable only the setups you want to trade.
  • FVG Retest
  • Order Block Retest
  • Liquidity Sweep Entry
  • 1st Presented FVG
  • Inverse FVG (IFVG) Retest
  • Change in State of Delivery (CISD)
  • Judas Swing
Mode 2
ICT Filters
Apply ICT conditions as additional gates on any EdgeMax entry — CORE, HTF, discretionary, or other signals. The setup must satisfy the filter before a trade fires.
  • Kill Zone Filter — restrict by time window
  • Market Structure Filter — require confirmed BOS/MSS
  • FVG Confluence Filter — require active imbalance
  • Sweep Confirmation Filter — require recent stop run

Seven Setups. One Strategy.

Each signal reads live data from the Smart Money Suite indicators in real time. Enable the ones that match your trading model — mix and match freely.

SIGNAL 01
FVG Retest
Enters when price returns to an active, unmitigated Fair Value Gap in the trade direction. Only unfilled gaps qualify — mitigated zones are automatically excluded.

SIGNAL 02
Order Block Retest
Enters on a retest of an active bullish or bearish Order Block. The OB is automatically invalidated by BWT ICT Concepts when it is mitigated.

SIGNAL 03
Liquidity Sweep Entry
Enters in the reversal direction immediately after a liquidity sweep. Sell-side sweep → long. Buy-side sweep → short. Configurable recency window.

SIGNAL 04
1st Presented FVG
Specifically targets the session's first Fair Value Gap — the highest-priority ICT imbalance of the trading day. Resets at every session open.
Source: BWT ICT Concepts
SIGNAL 05
IFVG Retest
Enters on a retest of an Inverse FVG — a zone that formed when a prior FVG was fully filled and inverted its polarity.
Source: BWT ICT Concepts
SIGNAL 06
CISD Entry
Enters after a confirmed Change in State of Delivery — a session-level shift in the dominant directional delivery of price.

SIGNAL 07

Judas Swing

The Judas Swing is ICT's concept of a deliberate false move — a liquidity grab above a session high or below a session low that engineers the real trade. EdgeMax detects when price sweeps a tracked session level and enters in the opposite direction, anticipating the reversal.

Gate Any Entry With ICT Conditions

Filters work on top of any EdgeMax entry method. The trade signal still has to come first — but it won't execute unless the ICT condition is also satisfied.

Kill Zone Filter
Block all entries outside your chosen time windows. Seven kill zones, each independently enabled. Only trades that fall within an active kill zone will execute.
USE CASE: Enable NY-AM + London only. Zero trades during low-volume hours.
ZoneTime (ET)
Asia8:00 PM – 11:59 PM

NY-AM9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

📈
Market Structure Filter
Require confirmed market structure in the trade direction before an entry is allowed. Bearish structure blocks longs. Bullish structure blocks shorts. Neutral structure blocks both.
USE CASE: Never trade counter-trend. If BOS/MSS hasn't confirmed your direction, no trade fires.
  • Long entries require MarketStructureState ≥ +1
  • Short entries require MarketStructureState ≤ −1
  • Neutral state blocks all directional entries
  • Live data from BWT ICT Concepts
📊
FVG Confluence Filter
Require an active, unmitigated FVG in the trade direction before any entry fires. If there is no open imbalance supporting the trade, EdgeMax holds off.
USE CASE: Add FVG confluence to CORE signals. Trade only when an institutional imbalance lines up.
  • Long: active bullish FVG must be present
  • Short: active bearish FVG must be present
  • Filled FVGs automatically disqualify
  • Live data from BWT ICT Concepts
💥
Sweep Confirmation Filter
Require a recent liquidity sweep that supports the trade direction. Long entries need a sell-side sweep (stops run below). Short entries need a buy-side sweep (stops run above).
USE CASE: Pair with FVG or OB entries — only enter long after a swing low has been swept.
  • Long: sell-side sweep within N bars required
  • Short: buy-side sweep within N bars required
  • Configurable recency window
  • Live data from BWT ICT Liquidity Levels

Mix and Match

Entry signals and filters are fully composable. Here are three common configurations — but you can build any combination that fits your strategy.

Pure ICT Automation
Entry Module only. All trades come from FVG, OB, sweep, or Judas setups. No other EdgeMax signals involved. For traders who want full ICT-native automation.
ICT-Filtered CORE
Keep your existing CORE or HTF entries. Add Kill Zone + Sweep Confirmation as filters. Same signals, but now they only fire in the right window and after stops have been run.
Maximum Discipline
Entry Module + all four filters active. Trades must be an ICT-native setup AND satisfy kill zone timing AND have confirmed structure AND show FVG confluence.

What You Need on the Chart

The ICT Module reads live data from the Smart Money Suite indicators. Add the ones you need for the signals and filters you've enabled. EdgeMax validates that required indicators are loaded before any trade fires — with a clear reason message in NinjaBuddy if something is missing.
